Ella Sneak
I am posting at Ella this week on Wednesday and Friday. Here's a little peak at my Friday post...I hope you'll join me for my challenge!
Change Will Not Come If I Wait For Some Other Person Or Some Other Time. I Am The One I've Been Waiting For, I am The Change That I Seek. The Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With A Single Step, My Step; Thus, Let My Journey Begin.
What It's All About
I know...A 3rd blog...what am I thinking? I wanted somewhere to write down the things that I am working on. I needed somewhere that I could challenge myself, somewhere I could remain accountable for true change. Most of all I needed somewhere that I could remind myself that I can change, even if it is one small thing at a time! Each week I will be giving myself new goals, in various area's of my life that I feel need improvement. I will also give progress on how I am doing with each goal, and post things that I am doing to stay creative. I truly believe that by starting with myself, maybe someday I can help to make some global changes-and if not, at least I will have become the person I want to be. If any of you would like to join me, please do so, and let me know where your journey is leads you.
Harriet Tubman: Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. Henri Bergson: To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly. Leo Tolstoy: Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. Mairead Maguire: We frail humans are at one time capable of the greatest good and, at the same time, capable of the greatest evil. Change will only come about when each of us takes up the daily struggle ourselves to be more forgiving, compassionate, loving, and above all joyful in the knowledge that, by some miracle of grace, we can change as those around us can change too. Pablo Picasso: I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it. W.E.B. Du Bois: The most important thing to remember is this: To be ready at any moment to give up what you are for what you might become. Mary Englebreit: The best changes often start as a single, simple thought. Think big, and discover the ways to make your dreams real. Unkown: If you don't like something, change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it.
